Transformation and Growth
Like the few, the transition from being a teenager to adulthood for me was not the most difficult thing to accomplish, growing up very independent and strong I was already self-disciplined and accountable for my actions. I learned most my lessons from the school of life of hard knocks. I learned to be a responsible individual being independent and tacking on life. In my career I started by doing many internal courses and learning programs, this set me up to become who I am today.
I remember I was always on the lookout for when and where a course would pop up that I could attend and this lit a fire within me to become the best I can be. I have done and completed many short courses, learner-ships and training programs. As I am in a technical field and coming from an academic background I aspired to do me Electrical Trade and become a Qualified Electrician with a wireman’s license for South Africa. I continued to always better myself as I saw myself as an asset to life and to my company. Being in a management position for most of my life I did courses in the respective field but soon found that a course is not getting me ahead. The decision was made for me to do a Degree.
